Corvette fleeing police crashes into Masonic lodge in northwest Houston
Houston, TX - A Corvette fleeing from police crashed into a Masonic lodge in the 6200 block of W Little York.
According to Houston police, officers initially observed the driver running red lights and driving recklessly at high speeds just after 2 a.m., , on West Montgomery before the suspect fled. The pursuit lasted about five minutes and ended after the Corvette suffered a flat tire and crashed into the building.
Firefighters extricated the male driver and a female passenger, both believed to be in their 30s. They were transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police said the driver was originally wanted for aggravated felony theft and engaging in organized crime. New charges will be determined by the district attorney’s office.
